Trying to flesh out this character I’ve had on my mind for a little while. I had sketched the first time there. I’m thinking he may look a little too much like Chris, but I’ll probably keep modify him. He’s not quite looking like what I have in mind but almost. I also do not know if I’ll keep him so skinny. I can’t really imagine the character otherwise but many of my latest male designs have been really skinny guys. I’m not sure why, it’s never been particularly in my habit.

Chris’ evolution can be noted by a growing affection for pants that may burn your retina. These outfits are not completely set in stones. I’m mostly trying things out, fleshing the character out at the same time. One thing is sure though, his style will become more colourful and eclectic as time goes.

Last Character Portrait

Unless I’ve forgotten someone, I think I have everyone at least for this part of the comic.

I had done a another drawing some time ago of Tanya, but it became a mess when I tried a new type of marker who bleeds a lot and made all the inking fuzzy. Not wanting to try the experiment again, I’ve used pencils, scanned, and then applied colour digitally. I think I should have done that for Dominique.

Now I just need to write the missing description and update the site.

Also, I just got a new job. I feel that it might actually give me a boost in productivity for the comic. My moral is a lot higher now, and so is my creativity. The pencilling of the next page is actually almost done.

Other drawings that will be used for the character page. Only Tanya is missing now. I colored Dominique digitally because I didn’t have anything that worked well for darker skin tones. It might clash with the other portraits though. I might try something else if I have time until the next update(which should be in one or 2 weeks).

Chris. I cropped the snake in the site because I was very unhappy about the head(and these snakes have pretty cool heads)

Eric, which we haven’t seen much yet in the comic. With mostly markers this time.

OBSESSIVITY HAS TURNED TWO YEARS OLD YESTERDAY!!!

Not sure if I should be so happy about it since there’s only 24(soon 25) pages, but I think it shows that it’s there to stay, because I would have given up a lot earlier if I lacked motivation.

The two drawings here are the full size drawings that will be used(and cropped) for the character page of the comic. Not too long ago I’ve stumbled on my watercolor pencils and thought I’d try them again. It forced me to use colours I wouldn’t necessarily used since I have a limited amount(way too much pink for my own good, but it drives the point anyway). A lot of tweaking digitally too, since my scanner tends to eat some colors, and to blast everything, althought I couldn’t save the shadows on Sébastien, which have been erased a lot.
